BIOGRAPHY

Graduated Birmingham Univeristy 1968

Some years as a jazz musician. Pianist in a 'Big Band' and Director of a 7 piece band.

30 years of teaching experience - 27 of these as Head of a thriving Music Department in a well known Comprehensive school and as Organist and Choirmaster in two Parish Churches. Compositions for all manner of ensembles, large and small.

A lifetime supporting Choral music. Founder of the 'Fossdale Singers'. (Originally a Madrigal group which grew into a fine Chamber Choir).

Wide experience of Conducting. Guest Conductor for Sheffield Youth Orchestra, School ensembles, many Orchestras and Choirs.
